Celebration of Life for Theresa Margaret Salmon

Theresa Margaret Salmon "Terry", 72, passed away on October 5, 2019. She was born in Manhattan, New York to the late Walter and Margaret Altman. Through the years Terry had many jobs, she worked at the Navy Exchange, was a florist, bus driver, day care provider, and a homemaker. In her early years was a Navy ombudsman member and was in the wives club. Later became a member of the American Legion Auxiliary. Terry never met a stranger, was kind to everyone and was always there to help when anyone needed a hand or just someone to talk to. She enjoyed crafting, crocheting, traveling, planning parties, and playing games but her greatest love was for her family. Her family was her life. She adored her children and grandchildren but most of all her late husband John "Sam" Salmon. Theresa was predeceased by her loving husband, John Salmon Jr. and sister, Barbara Griffin. Left to cherish her memory are her children, Cheri Morgan and her husband Paul of TX, and John Walter Salmon of NV; 2 brothers, Oscar Altman of VA and Walter Altman of CO; 2 sisters, Sharon Miller of SC and Gail McGuire of NY; and 5 grandchildren, Ryan Morgan, Hunter Morgan, Vegas Salmon, Brooklyn Salmon, and Paris Salmon. A celebration of life will be held at the family home on Wednesday October 9, 2019 from 6 pm. to 8 pm.
